in Jewellery Stolen

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying
two suspects who snatched a jewellery filled suitcase after a display
show in Oshawa on Saturday night.
On
Saturday, August 16th, 2008, shortly after 6:00 p.m. officers from 17
Division (Oshawa) were called to the Oshawa Centre at 419 King Street
West for a report of a robbery.
Officers
attended the scene and spoke with the male and female victims who reported
that they had just packed up after finishing a jewellery display show
at the Oshawa Centre. They had used the service stairwell to return
to the main floor, when two male suspects accosted them and grabbed
the suitcase. The two males were last scene fleeing the parking lot
in a dark coloured minivan. The value of the stolen jewellery is estimated
to be $400,000.
Suspect
#1 is described as: male, white 5’10”, with a medium build.
He was wearing a dark coloured baseball hat and dark clothing.
Suspect
#2 is described as: male, tanned skin, 5’4” or 5’5”
with a stocky build. He was wearing a white shirt with blue jeans.
The
vehicle is described as a grey minivan.
